Catuaba Bark: The Brazilian Secret For Boosting Libido

Could Catuaba Bark Be A Brazilian Secret?

Catuaba Bark is native to Brazil. I’ve been to Brazil. The country emits sex and sexuality. There are two things on Brazilians mind. That is looking good and feeling good. With that knowledge, I wasn’t surprised to find that Catuaba is indigenous to Brazil and is taken for it’s sex enhancing affects.

Joking aside, this particular herb caught my attention. It seems to work well on its own, and even better combined with other aphrodisiac herbs. Let’s look at it more in depth.

What Is Catuaba?

It’s botanical name is Trichiliia Catigua. Besides boosting libido, this aphrodisiac herb elevates mood to. Recent studies have shown that happy people have more sex than unhappy people. I can see why. I have days that go smooth, and I’m happy to see my husband, at the end of the day. :) Besides increasing libido, Catuaba helps with a slew of ailments. You could take it for your lack of libido and find out it helps with something else, as well. Love that.

How Does It Work?

Like many of the other aphrodisiac herbs, this part is unknown.

Side Effects of Catuaba Bark

Unlike, other libido herbs, Catuaba is void of side effects! Yep, you read that right. Catuaba does not produce unwanted side effects. The only possible side effect that I read about is the duration of sex. Men complained that they could not last as long in bed but that it was not a significant problem for their women.

Does It Work?

According to the countless reviews I’ve read…YES! The following are Catuaba Bark reviews:

  • “Sensation during sex is heightened.”
  • “Erection last longer.”
  • “Thought about sex more.”
  • “Refractory period decreased.”
  • “Erotic dream.”

*Give it a few weeks to build up in your system. At least two weeks to see any of the above results!

Catuaba Tips And Tricks

  1. The more often you drink it, the better.
  2. Powder Catuaba Yourself. Purchase the herb in sliced form and grind.
  3. Always brew the tea in hot water for no less than twenty-five minutes.
  4. Span your tea drinking out to 4 times a day.
  5. You will need to cycle the herb, so you don’t build up a tolerance to it.
  6. Combines well with Muira Puma

Where Can I Get it?

Good News! Catuaba is easily available over the counter and you can order it here!

Give These Exercises For Erectile Dysfunction A Try!

There are exercises for Erectile Dysfunction. That may sound funny to you, but they have been proven to work. So, let’s strengthen our sex muscle.

Some of these can be performed with or without your partner. Everyday do at least one of the following exercises.

Here we go…

1. Warm Up

Before intercourse, stimulate yourself. Non genital stimulation really helps with ED. What is non genital stimulation?  It’s sexual excitement without involving your genitals.

How do you practice this? There are a few erogenous zones on our body. Some even have connected pathways to our genitals. Our nipples are in this category. Stimulating the nipples can lead to sexual excitement. The nape of the neck as well as our fingers and mouth are all apart of non genital stimulation.

2. Bath Exercise

Draw a bath. Yes, it’s OK for men to take baths! Make sure your bathwater is warm. You may practice this exercise with or without your partner.

  • Masturbate, but don’t finish yourself
  • When you are fully erect firmly hold your testicles
  • Simultaneously squeeze and pull on your testicles
  • Repeat as many times as you can. Make sure to bring your excitement back to a 1 or 2 before you start again.

Handling your testicles  stimulates hormone secretion which helps with erection.

3. Chair Exercise

Out of the bath, sit on the end of a chair. Your testicles should hang freely in front of the chair.

  • Rub your hands together to create warmth
  • Cup your scrotum with one hand while you simultaneously rub your lower abdomen.
  • Back and for 100X
  • Change hands and repeat

This exercise stimulates hormone production!

Old Fashioned Exercises For Erectile Dysfunction

I can’t emphasize enough how physical activity helps in the bedroom. An increase in blood flow is the goal when dealing with erectile dysfunction and exercise can help with that. Another side effect of exercise is weight lose. Losing 10% of your body weight can increase blood flow to your penis area. Pick something and stick with it. Walk your dog, run for 20 minutes, lift weights, and do this continuously for 6 months. After 6 months, you will be able to tell a difference. Get moving!

These exercises for ED really work. Make sure you are taking the proper vitamins and herbs that will also help with ED.

In the Meantime…

I had no idea that this even existed. In fact, I was very surprised to find it and wish I had knew about it earlier.

I want to encourage you to continue with your exercises, but in the meantime you can use and Elator. It is a device that helps bring everything to a more upward position during sexual intercourse.

Testosterone Foods Really Work!

Testosterone foods have been used since the beginning of time. Our ancestors didn’t have drugs available to increase their male hormone. They simply used foods to increase their testosterone.

Food is a great way to increase your testosterone to baseline. If you are 30 or above I have bad news for you. Your testosterone is on a decline and or descent. It happens to every man everywhere. Sorry, I know…30 is young.

The good news? You can naturally increase your testosterone levels. Let’s take a look at what foods help.

The Mediterranean Diet

The Mediterranean diet is based on mainly nuts, fish, veggies, and beans. This diet gained popularity a few decades ago and has been proven to increase testosterone, helps with erections, and decreases cancer. Life longer to love fuller. :) I like it. Example of what foods to gravitate towards:

  • Anchovies
  • Artichoke Hearts
  • Beans
  • Feta Cheese
  • Chick Peas
  • Cous-Cous
  • Polenta
  • Lemons
  • Parmesan
  • Okra
  • Lentils
  • Sun Dried Tomatoes
  • Cod

Testosterone And Garlic

It is on the foods for male libido list! Increases testosterone and libido? A definite win. I read it also increases testicular weight. So…good for sperm count? Not a big whole clove garlic fan? Sprinkle some garlic powder or garlic salt on your favorite dish to get similar benefits.

Testosterone And Beans

Beans and an amazing good. Good for you, abundant, and cheap. Incorporating beans into your diet on a daily basis can only benefit several organs and hormones. Which beans are the best?

  • Kidney
  • Black
  • Pinto
  • Chickpeas
  • Lentils

Beans decrease estrogen in men. Yes, you have estrogen. Infact, too much estrogen can lead to chronic disease. Testosterone can convert to estrogen. Especially in men who are overweight. Eat healthy and eat your beans. More on estrogen below…

Testosterone And Estrogenic Chemicals

Testosterone decline is also due to exposure to estrogenic chemicals. So, age and chemicals are causing your decline.

Where are these chemicals?

All around us. In your food and in our water systems.

What can you do? Eat certain types of food and herbs on a daily basis! Here is a list of foods you should incorporate everyday to help combat the estrogenic chemicals.

  • Cruciferous Vegetables
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Curry
  • Red Wine
  • Flax Seeds
  • Kale
  • Omega 3’s
  • Milk Thistle
  • Dandelion Root
  • Parsley

Testosterone And Healthy Fats

Healthy fats are paramount for optimal health. If you are not eating properly then you body is not going to work properly. Plain and simple. Put down the bag of chips, which are full of Omega 6 fatty acids, and pick up an avocado. Here is a list of fats to incorporate into you diet on a daily basis:

  • Olives
  • Coconut Oil
  • Organic Eggs (never buy anything other than organic)
  • Nuts (especially almonds and walnuts)
  • Avocados

I hope this gets you started on selecting good testosterone foods.

Watch Your Progesterone Levels During Menopause- They are Important!

Education is key when dealing with progesterone levels during menopause. Don’t let menopause just happen to you. You hear me, you don’t have to sit back and take all of the unwanted awful symptoms of menopause. Know your stuff, and take charge of how your body feels and ages.

Okay, I’m a tad passionate about this topic. :) However, you can be 60 and look and feel like a 40 year old. Isn’t that worth the extra time and attention we can give to our bodies?

When you hit menopause, progesterone is one of the hormones that begins its decent. Are you under the assumption that you don’t need this hormone anymore? After all, you are past the “baby making stage!”

Well, think again. Progesterone keeps a woman’s sex drive high!! I am a tad excited about this because it is easily remedied. By the time menopause hits, your progesterone levels could be 1/2 of what they used to be. Shocking…I know! Progesterone is a key hormone that all women make and no women should be without. It can impact your health and quality of life. Progesterone not only helps with libido, but the benefits of progesterone cream are numerous:

  • Protects the heart
  • Protects the bones
  • Protects the brain
  • Is a natural diuretic
  • Helps with sleep
  • Prevents female cancers
  • Very calming
  • Helps with PMS symptoms
  • Promotes weight loss
  • Balances sugar levels
  • Alleviates depression
  • Prevents migraines

and so much more…

What Should You Do? – Progesterone Levels Menopause

If you suspect that your progesterone levels are low, get your hormone levels tested. The doctor can run labs to figure out the best route for you.

Progesterone Cream For Menopause – Progesterone Levels Menopause

It does matter what cream you rub onto your body. You most definitely want a natural progesterone cream; not a cancer promoting one.

Pills are not the way to go. Dr. Mercola has a wonderful article on why progesterone pills are not the best way to get your daily progesterone.

Instead of ingesting the hormone through your digestive track, your main goal is to get it into you blood stream just like your ovaries do.

Dr. Mercola suggests that,”If you apply the
cream to your mucous epithelial membranes that line your uterus and
vagina you obtain a virtually ideal administration system.
Not only is
absorption through these membranes more complete than through your skin,
but hormones absorbed through your vaginal membranes enter the very
same pelvic plexus of veins that your ovaries normally empty into”

What dosage? 15 mg for the first 25 days of the month, then take 5 or 6 days off. Restart on the first day of the month. You can apply the cream to the vagina area with your finger.

One of the best all natural progesterone creams available is NatPro Natural Progesterone Cream. The progesterone in NatPro is identical to the progesterone that your body makes. What else makes NatPro the best choice?

  • Does not contain mineral oil
  • Is hypoallergenic
  • Contains Aspen bark extract instead of Parabens
  • Contains 30 milligrams per gram instead of 5, like most.

NetPro Progesterone Reviews

  1. “After much research, I settled on NetPro. 2 weeks out and I feel great!”
  2. “I have suffered migraines for years, and they instantly stopped with NetPro.”
  3. “Before NetPro I had problems with hormones. I have been on it for 6 months and menopause has not been a problem, so far.”
  4. “I have suffered migraines for years, and they instantly stopped with NetPro.”
  5. “Helped with progesterone levels menopause. During and after menopause.”

Have You Had Your Maca Root Today?

Maca Root is a superfood and super libido booster! I have a tendency to get way too excited about Maca. I think you’ll see why…

Maca came into my life years ago. Long before our libido boosting journey. I’m a self proclaimed health nut. I grew up on lentils and brussel sprouts; I suppose I was groomed to eat healthily.

Anyway, I read about the incredible health benefits of Maca and knew that I had to incorporate it into my diet. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it…but more on that later.

What Is Maca?

The Maca herb is a Peruvian root vegetable grown in the Andes Mountains. The Maca plant is so powerful compared to other root vegetables.

Maca Root is grown in such harsh conditions that it sucks up minerals from the earth just to survive. We ingest the root and all those earthly minerals. So, we reap the benefits of the harsh Andes conditions.

The Peruvians grow it and consume it. They use it for every ailment/disease known. Reminds me of the Windex bottle in My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Got a cut? Spray Windex on it. Fortunately, Maca is much more realistic than Windex. :)

Benefits of Maca

Maca extract is loaded with vitamins and minerals. It helps regulate our bodily functions. Take a look:

  • Boost Energy
  • Helps With Sleep
  • Regulates Menstruation Cycles
  • Regulates Menopausal Symptoms
  • Helps Adrenal Gland Function
  • Helps With Stress And Anxiety
  • Give You Greater Stamina
  • Balances Hormones
  • Increases Womanly Curves

What about Libido?

Maca Libido

Maca is the mecca of libido boosting herbs. It contains sterols that are believed to block the production of estrogen and boost testosterone. This leads to both men and women (yes women produce testosterone) feeling hornier…I mean more sexual. Speaking of the reproductive area, it also helps with infertility and erectile dysfunction.

Maca is an extraordinary sex enhancing agent; it will rock your world!

Maca Root Side Effects

I’m pleased to say that the side effects are minimal. I mentioned that this herb increases curves. This is why I had to quite taking it. Great for those who are not already curvy, but not for those of us curvier ladies. Or those who have a tendency to be curvy. Here are other side effects of Maca:

  • Increased Appetite
  • Bloating
  • Cramping Around Menstrual Period
  • Possible Insomnia (If taken too much)
  • Increased Heart rate

Maca Warning

Always consult a doctor before using. Especially if, you have thyroid disease, allergies to Maca, kidney disease, or liver disease.

Maca Dosage

Start Small!! The Maca Powder is the best form of the supplement. If consuming the Maca supplement in powder form, stick to 1 tablespoonful/day. Be sure to cycle the herb. Take Maca Four days on and 3 days off. Take an entire week off every month. Tolerance kicks in if you do not cycle!

I don’t have any specific Maca recipes. I would blend it into my morning green drink. It needs honey to sweeten it up!!! It is extremely fibrous and thick so blend, blend, blend!

Maca Reviews Or Results

  • “My erections come much easier than before.”
  • “Last longer in the bedroom.”
  • “Seeing great results taking Horney Goat Weed With Maca!”

Where Can I get Maca Root?

Great News! You can buy maca root online easily:

Great Foods For Male Libido

There really are foods for male libido. If you’ve read our top aphrodisiac foods list, then you know that the food is healthy and can be a powerful libido booster.

We are huge advocates of using our food as medicine. God created food to nourish and sustain us. We just need to educate ourselves on what particular foods to eat.

Long before pills there was food!

Besides fixing yourself aphrodisiac foods, there are certain foods men should eat and stay away from. Let’s take a look …

Food To Increase Male Libido

1. Consume foods high in protein and low in carbohydrates. good fats should be eaten in moderation. Some of those good fats are:

  • Avocados
  • Coconut Oil
  • Olive Oil (uncooked)
  • Almonds

2. Fatty Acids are very important. Fatty acids help produce sex hormones. This includes testosterone. Choose foods that are high in essential fatty acids such as:

  • fish
  • flaxseed (Great in smoothies and oatmeal)
  • Krill Oil (One of the best ways to absorb and get your fatty acids and omegas.

3. Eat most, if not all, of your carbohydrates via organic vegetables. Some veggies may require you to pop a mint afterwards. :)

  • Tomatoes (So many internally good things happen when you eat tomatoes. Believe it or not, tomatoes assist in the production of testosterone.)

  • Garlic ( I suggest pressing 1 clove a day. Put the garlic on top of a tomato and sprinkle it with sea salt. Yes, it takes a little getting used to. Garlic contains Cilicin which has been proven to increase libido.)

  • Watermelon (The effects of watermelon has been compared to the pill Viagra. I don’t think you need any convincing on this delicious fruit. It’s good, refreshing, and helps relax blood vessels.)

  • Greens ( Eat your greens. Namely artichokes, lettuc, cucumber, spinach, and kiwi fruit. All of the above contain high levels of zinc. Zinc boosts libido.

Pheromones; Can A Smell Make You Irresistible?

Pheromones; Can A Smell Make You Irresistible?

Do pheromones work? Do love potions that claim to attract the opposite sex really do just that? Can you really smell irresistible? These questions intrigued me. I set out to find a definitive answer.

I’m not going to lie, I giggled when I first heard about human pheromones and sexual attraction. I was well aware of different scents we emit, but to think about spritzing myself with a pheromone spray or cologne seemed like a mystical hoax.

So i dug deep and did a little spray here or there to do my own research. The findings are quite interesting….

What Is A Pheromone?

A pheromone is a chemical substance that most mammals produce in their bodies. This chemical is then released into the air affecting other mammals. Usually in the terms of behavior or physiology.

A few fun facts about pheromones…

  • Released from sweat
  • Odorless
  • Responsible for chemical attraction signals
  • Our pheromones decreases after 40

That’s right, women in their 40’s are not excreting as many pheromones as in their 20’s. So, adding pheromones to your perfume makes the difference.

Do Pheromones Actually Work?

Do pheromones influence our sexual response? Psychology Today wrote a fantastic article about The Science of Love. Science has not pin pointed a sex pheromone however, several small experiment prove that pheromone companies could be on to something.

A 20/20 pheromone experiment took twins and spritzed one with pheromones and left the other one untouched. At one of those “fast dating” places, the twins were rotated through the men/women. Hands down the ones spritzed with the pheromones were preferred over the twin that was left alone.

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Another experiment took women in the 40’s that were having a hard time attracting a date. They were convinced to wear pheromones every day for a period of time to see if their dating life would turn around.

What happened? They all attracted men.

So even though there is a lack of scientific proof that pheromones work. It can be seen that it most definitely helps when attracting the opposite sex.

Would I give it a try? Absolutely!

The Best Place To Apply

Some spots are better than others when applying pheromones. Dosage is also another important factor in applying it properly. Too much of a good thing can spoil the effect, and too little will not give you the desired outcome.

How do you know how much to apply?

You have to be the one to monitor that and follow directions on the bottle for proper application. Sometimes I add a little more than the directions state. :)

Heat helps pheromones release. So apply them to these “pulse points”...

  • Nape of neck
  • Hairline
  • Jaw
  • Chest
  • Jugular
  • Elbow pit

Be sure to remove all pheromone residue. Exfoliation is the best way to remove all traces of pheromones.
